Account Groups

Account Groups is a way of grouping your Debtors (Customers) and Creditors (Suppliers) into different categories. All Debtors and Creditors must belong to an account group and an account territory.


Account Groups can be used for mail merge, sending emails and SMS Messages. Used in conjunction with Account Territories these programs can be very powerful. Account Groups & Territories are used in the Communications Centre for various promotional purposes.



Comments Tab

General comments for this group.



Queries Tab

The Group Debtor / Creditor List query lists all the Debtor and Creditors belonging to this Group. There is also a query here to list inactive debtors and creditors belonging to this group as well.



Options Tab


Capricorn options for this group:

Tick Box Accounts in this Group are Capricorn Accounts - Tick this box if this is a Capricorn group.  That is, all accounts in this group are all Capricorn Accounts.

My member Id for this group - Enter the Capricorn Member Id.


Update Accounts:

There is an option to update the price groups (price matrix) for all accounts that belong to this account group. Select an existing customer pricing structure (eg. retail or trade pricing) to adjust multiple accounts conveniently.
