"We run a service station and mechanical workshop on the north side of Brisbane. With the arrival of GST looming we urgently needed to upgrade our very basic software to manage our operation. At the time we were using 2 different software packages, one to manage our mechanical workshop and one for the service station and point of sale. End of month paperwork to merge figures from both programs was a tedious and taxing task.

We researched extensively for a company that offered an integrated software package for both sides of the business and really only found 3 companies that offered anything that fitted the bill. "My name is Doug Behn; I have been in the Service Station industry for over 30 years. I am a director on the Service Station Board of NSW. I have a Servo at Evans Head in NSW. In our business we have mechanical workshop, NRMA, petrol and convenience store.

I spent a lot of time looking around for a software package that would do the lot. By that I mean point of sale at the front counter debtors, creditors, workshop, stock and general ledger. I found Autosoft at the time in Dos program for the price, the best on the market. I found also dealing with a small company easier then a large one which tends to give you the run a round. James is great, a very smart man when it comes to this computer program. As I first stated we started off with a Dos programming, Autosoft has progressed to windows with the petrol point of sale which is great. Now they are about to launch the next phase which I am quit excited about. As you can see Autosoft is moving with the times and I think will continue to do so.
